Question abound regarding the nature of highly aware voters. What type of political behavior should we expect informed voters to show? One the one hand, we could expect an informed voter to avoid party limits and vote for candidates based on their stances and their experience. On the other hand, an informed voter may be more entrenched in their party position, having through about the issues more thoroughly. I plan to ask a sample pool of over 200 students survey questions to objectively measure their voter awareness. Once their awareness is measured, they shall answer questions to measure their tendency to follow party lines. Using this quantitative information, we shall learn whether or not informed voters are loyal to their political party.
